Taram Baba is an action Roguelike filled with poetic combat. Pierce the darkness of deep dungeons with your light and crush everything in your path until you reach Taram Baba.
View GameSofa Interactive was founded in 2024 by Mehmed Özen with a simple idea: games should be a conversation, not a lecture. What began in Ankara as a solo passion project under the name Book Club Experimental has evolved into a dedicated collective at ODTÜ ATOM.
Our Mission We work hard to make every second of gameplay enjoyed and every turn in our stories decided by you. Whether it’s the atmospheric depths of Taram Baba or the cosmic chaos of Still Space, we aim to craft worlds where players can lose themselves in the experience.
Our Philosophy We reject the 'black box' style of game development. We believe in building with our door open—prioritizing transparency and actively listening to the community. When you play a Sofa Interactive game, you aren't just a player; you are shaping the world alongside us.
Mehmed holds a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University (2024),
where he studied on a full comprehensive scholarship. Following graduation, he pivoted his focus
entirely to game development, releasing his debut solo project, Taram Baba, in
April 2025.
Later that year, Mehmed established Sofa Interactive, leading the team to launch their second
title, Still Space, in December 2025. Currently, he continues his development
journey based in Ankara as part of the ODTÜ ATOM pre-incubation center.
Alparslan Kılıç holds a degree in Economics from Hacettepe University (Feb 2024). While
finishing his studies, he discovered a passion for game development, diving into pixel art in
mid-2023 and expanding into 3D modeling immediately upon graduation.
He joined Sofa Interactive during the production of Still Space, where his 3D
work became instrumental to the game's visual identity. Alparslan currently drives the artistic
direction of the studio’s projects from ODTÜ ATOM in Ankara.
Sinan Ermiş is currently pursuing his B.S. in Computer Engineering at Hacettepe University. A
versatile game programmer, he combines strong academic foundations in data structures and
algorithms with practical mastery of Unity and the .NET Framework.
Driven by a deep passion for technology, Sinan joined Sofa Interactive to engineer the systems
behind the studio's upcoming ambitious titles. His technical expertise spans from high-level
gameplay programming to low-level graphics optimization.
